The Two Kinds of Blog Posts.

Back when people used to write blogs, there was a mildly funny joke about how all blogs universally contain two kinds of posts:

1) THIS IS MY FIRST BLOG POST!!!

2) Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.

This is my sorry I haven't posted in awhile. My 2026 has been basically impossible, basically because of work. I basically got a temporary promotion I did not want and it has basically eaten my life. It will get better eventually, but it isn't better yet. I've taken a small vacation to chill out and figure out how to relax (Oh, yeah, turns out I am this old and have never learned how to take a vacation or relax). Right now I'm in a little cabin near the sea and it is exactly as charming as you think.

Today I have spent the day getting caught up on my teach-myself-photography project. I have been on several trips in the last few months (mostly for work), but as always, the core thematic element of my work as a terrible photographer remains unchanged: Cats.

Specifically: My cats.

Other than that, I continue to take terrible pictures of mostly empty places (If all aliens knew about Earth were my photos, they would not know that humans exist).

If cats and empty spaces are two of your favorite things, then you are about to really enjoy this website.

Still Still at the Bar.

The grown man in the backward baseball cap who just sat down to my right ordered a Jameson and ginger ale and chicken parmigiana. I don’t know that it would ever occur to me to order those two things together, much less in an airport bar.

Also, now he is looking at that blond girl and he is being WAY creepier about it than I was.

And We're Back!

These posts today are not so much about you being interested in them. They are mostly me reminding myself how to write for you since it has been so long since I have done it. I have been rather lazy for the last month or so.

I have gotten bored with being lazy.
