Bumblebee.

One of the finest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing is a guy named Tommy Rhoads. We grew up together in the dusty San Joaquin Valley. Whereas I became all wordy and insufferable, he actually learned how to do things and be a good person. A few years ago he built a to-scale replica of the Transformer Bumblebee. Some people recently filmed it with a drone and put it up on the Youtubes.

Marie Digby's Umbrella Goes Up to 11.

Now I know that you are pretty cool and so you probably have already heard of this girl Marie Digby, but she popped up on my Pandora the other day while I was at work and so I wasn’t really paying a lot of attention, until I heard the hook of that Rihanna song “Umbrella” (the part when it gets all “ella-ella-ella”) only it was this really pretty singing voice. I read a little bit about this girl and apparently she got herself a record deal by doing acoustic versions of pop songs on Youtube. That’s kinda cool, right?

Here is her acoustic “Umbrella” (Hey! “Acoustic Umbrella” would be a good song for my band’s next album!)

Lambert the Sheepish Lion

So you know how sometimes a big chunk of memory detaches itself from the sky and lands right on your head?

Well that just happened to me! I got hit by a big hunk of Lambert the Sheepish Lion. I loved this cartoon when I was a kid.

God bless the YouTube.
