Equine Education Program.
Today at work I learned that an ‘equine education program’ is not a school for horses where they learn how to bray and winy and do geometry. Apparently it is a place where people learn about horses. That is far less interesting, but I guess that makes sense because I don’t know how a horse would fit into a desk anyway.

Sleepy.
For some reason I am super sleepy tonight. How sleepy? Well I’ve been too lazy to even take my pants off, which is usually the first thing I do when I cross the threshold into my apartment. It took all of the energy I could muster just to take a nap. That recharged my batteries enough to cut open a bag of salad and eat the salad inside.
However I had promised myself that I would write here as much as I can (so as to sate my guilt about not having written here much lately). Unfortunately for you, I am too tired to even pretend to be interesting, so here is a picture of a map of the regions of North American inhabited by mule deer.

Sad Collection of Words.
I read this statement in a lot of thesis projects I see at work and it always strikes me as such a sad collection of words:
Results indicated that there was no significant difference between the pre- and posttest findings
It is kind of like saying, “This idea I had for my thesis project – and which I spent a year or more of my life researching, testing, and writing about - turned out to not actually be a thing.”
Thank god I'm a writer and therefore free of the tyranny of having to prove that anything I say is correct.
