Not Quite What I Was Planning.

I just read the small book “Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six-Word Memoirs by Writers Famous & Obscure”

Here are a few that I liked and which are very much reflective of the mood I’m in, or maybe the mood I want to be in:

I wrote a poem. Nobody cared.

– Joe Heaps Nelson

Fearlessness is the mother of reinvention

– Arianna Huffington

It’s like forever, only much shorter.

- Pete DeVito

Hope my obituary spells ‘debonair’ correctly.

- Gregg Easterbrook

I imagined more than office jobs.

- Gretchen Vitamvas

Tombstone won’t say “had health insurance.”

- Dean Haspiel
